Black Dahlia is an indie author, mom, and cancer survivor. She lives in the mountains with her two ducks, cat, dog, and son. When she isn’t writing or working, she is usually... well, still working. But she can also be found collecting rocks and teapots like the old lady she is, at the ripe old age of 29.
President of The Indie Author Revolution NonProfit, she's also notorious for her all-caps pep talks and unapologetic passion for indie voices. Outside of the non-profit and her own books, she started her own small business to support the broader creative community—helping indie authors, narrators, artists, editors, and fellow small business owners. Because doing this shit alone is impossible, we all need help, and we can’t all afford it. She does what she does because we’re all just broke girlies out here trying to make it work.
Her debut novel, This Quiet Violence, is a spicy, psychologically twisted tale of feminine rage and revenge, with so much more planned for the series. Known for emotionally wrecking her readers with alarming consistency, Dahlia writes psychological thrillers, horror, and tragedy, all laced with sharp wit and a very dark sense of humor.
This Quiet Agony is the second book in The Violent Violets series. Black Dahlia is already hard at work on the third book, This Quiet Revenge. She has many more books planned across different series, intending to stay true to her brand of female rage and psychological torture while branching out into dark fantasy.
